Last month we flew to Costa Rica for a destination wedding. We made the trip extremely relaxing by locking our phones in the hotel room safe. We completely unplugged our hectic work lives and took in what Costa Rica had to offer. The wedding was so beautiful. Waves were crashing, monkeys were howling, drinks were flowing, and life seemed to just slow down in the moment.
Jon and I had made a pact that we would do something adventurous on every trip we take, otherwise we would just drink by the pool the entire time, which btw no complaints here! Jon and I had never been zip-lining before, so we took the opportunity to see one of the most beautiful places on earth from a bird's eye view. I have to admit, that I almost chickened out as Jon and I watched scary vacation disaster youtube videos prior to our arrival. It ended up being so much fun and wasn't scary at all.
